About generation of tourmaline negative ions
About negative ions
There are corpuscules with electrons in the air and its
sizes are from 1micron (1/1000mm) to that of one molecule (0.001micron).
Among them, we call 10~100 formicating particles of the molecule small ion
and we call that is with negative electrons negative ions. These negative
ions accept outside energy sources. The molecule with neutral electrons
peels off negative ions among them and translates into positive ions. Peeled
off negative ions are absorbed by other molecules and also become negative
ions.
In nature, when small drops in the air split, they are with masculine and on the contrary they will with negative. That is called ionization phenomena of the air. Hence, near the chute and seashore, there are more negative ions in the air. On the other hand, in central city or beside factory, the air is seriously polluted and the amounts of negative ions are less comparatively. To human being, comfortable environment is always in the area of more negative ions such as chute, seashore and forest, etc.
About negative ions of tourmaline
Tourmaline, just as its name implies, is stone with electron
character. This kind of stone is of polarity by itself. It can make surrounding
air present negative ionization. Its generating amounts are as the following
tabulation. Generating negative ion amounts of tourmaline are generally
same with the comfortable environment values of Xianggen (Name of district).
Under sunglow discharge or mechanism method operation, it will generate negative ions. Using mensurating equipments of our graduate school can rapidly become conscious of abnormal interval from 0~100000 of the value. That means tourmaline after being rimed naturally is with not only mechanically abnormal manner, but also with mass negative ions beneficial to human body. It can compare beauty with comfortable circumstance of chute or beside forest. Just because of that, everybody think it is beneficial to human health and environment.
