TEST REPORT
Test Date: 03/18/98
Test Item: Old type laundry ball was
compared with Type A, Type B and Type C on the basis of
performance.
(1) Soil removal.
(2) PH value.
(3) the weight and shape of solid pellets after 30 cycles
at 20 oC.
Procedure: Add the tap water into the
washing machine up to the middle water level. The object
washed is smeary cloth 400 (USA Scientific Services S/D
Inc.)
Results:
1) Soil removal: old type laundry ball is smaller than
Type A, Type B and Type C (Old type <Type A, Type B
and Type C).

2) PH value: Old type laundry ball is smaller than Type
A, Type B and Type C (Old type <Type A, Type B and
Type C)
3) After 30 washes and drying at 40 oC, the
weight of the pellets of old type laundry ball is 18g,
but Type A, Type B and Type C is 34.5g.
4) One part of pellets of old type laundry ball is sodium
soap about weight 10g, this soap pellets are finished
after 30 washes.
SUMMARY
Type A, Type B and Type C performed better than old
type in soil removal and valid washes.
