Stain Magic for removing organic and natural stains
from Bane-Clene
Stain Magic is a two-part system formulated especially for removing organic and natural stains such as tea, herbal tea, coffee, mustard, wine, vomit, and natural juices. The system combines two powerful stain removing solutions that attack these extremely difficult stains. Part "A" contains an oxidizing bleach and Part "B" contains wetting agents and a volatile alkaline activator.
Stain Magic is easy to use:
-
Extraction clean (preferably with water) the spot to remove all surface contamination.
-
Blot the spot as dry as possible with a dry white clean towel.
-
Mix equal parts of Solution A and Solution B in a clean separate container. Mixed solution must be used within five minutes. Do not place mixed solution in a closed container.
-
Apply the mixed solution to the stain liberally and evenly to wet all the stained fibers and agitate gently. A trigger sprayer works well for this.
-
Covering treated fibers with clear plastic will improve performance.
-
Dwell Time: You may see the stain disappear immediately, or it may require 1-2 hours for the chemical reaction to reach completion.
-
Rinse with hot water extraction.
-
If a heavy spill, use Stain Blotter to prevent wicking.
-
For curry and mustard, steam heat or the Energizer Light is required:
-
Extraction clean (preferably with water) the spot to remove all surface contamination.
-
Blot the spot as dry as possible with a dry white clean towel.
-
Mix equal parts of Solution A and Solution B in a clean separate container. Mixed solution must be used within five minutes. Do not place mixed solution in a closed container.
-
Apply the mixed solution only to the stain liberally and evenly to wet all the stained fibers and agitate gently. A trigger sprayer works well for this.
-
If using a steam iron:
-
Prepare a damp towel and wring out until moderately damp and cover the stain with the damp towel. Apply steam heat to the towel for 1 ?3 minutes, using a steam iron filled with water and set at the lowest setting.
-
DO NOT SET IRON DIRECTLY ON CARPET! Because of its low melting point, do not use an iron on olefin.
-
Apply the iron directly over the towel covering the stain. Check the stain every 15 seconds. When the stain disappears, discontinue heat and remove the iron and the towel. Be alert for fibers that are not colorfast - if you see color loss, discontinue the heat immediately!
-
If using the
Energizer Light:
-
Satur
ate stain with the mixed Stain Magic solution.
-
Cover stain with the Energizer Light.
-
Allow the lamp to dwell for time required causing the stain to disappear. Time will vary from 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on severity of stain.
-
Extraction rinse the treated area to remove any residue and dry thoroughly.
-
If a heavy spill, use Stain Blotter to prevent wicking.
