FAQ of Negative Ion Powder

Q: What’s the difference between Tourmaline Powder and Negative Ion Powder?
A: Tourmaline Powder and Negative Ion Powder are two different types of products. (Of course they have some common parts) Tourmaline Powder is one kind of powder made of tourmaline as main raw materials through grinding. In generally it can be used for products related with water (such as Tourmaline Ceramic Ball), directly contact human body (such as cosmetics, etc.) But Negative Ion Powder contains little Tourmaline Powder (Tourmaline Powder is not the main materials), it also contains other nano materials (such as silicon oxide, alumina and rare earth, etc.) to cooperate for processing and grinding. It is mainly used for ornaments, necklace, sports sleeve guards, paints and textiles, etc.

Q: Is there any difference in the use and effect between Tourmaline Powder and Negative Ion Powder?
A: Yes, there is.
For Negative Ion Powder, the amount of generating negative ion can be tested in the air and its efficacy is obvious, it has certain radioactivity (Powder with higher amount of generating negative ion, there is stronger radioactivity.) it will have some actually accumulated side effect to human body. If you want to add powder in cosmetics, you should add Tourmaline Powder instead of Negative Ion Powder.

Q: How do we choose negative powder used in ornaments or fabric?
A: If you want to add powder to ornaments and necklace, I suggest Negative Ion Powder, Type B you ordered (the amount of generating negative ion: 4000~5000p/cm3, D50 grain size: 4~5μm). Because the function and grain size of Type B Negative Ion Powder is sufficient for ornaments, but less than 1μm Negative Ion Powder, Type C generally is used for textile fiber and clothing.

Q: Can you resolve becoming dark and antibacterial problems of FUGA product?
A: We can mix Nano Silver Antibacterial Powder into FUGA based on cement, and resolve becoming dark and antibacterial problems. (But antifouling and self-cleaning problems need experiment, then we can confirm.), or we can product according the technical data you offered.

Q: One producer in the paint puts Nano Silver Antibacterial Powder in the pail of the paint, when the pail closed tightly the paint doesn’t produce bacterium; some times later, the paint will become black, very black. That’s why? Whether it is because silver ion is oxidized or not?
A: I think probably after you offer Nano Silver Antibacterial Powder to your producer in paint he puts the powder directly into the paint. I don’t know whether my guess is right or wrong? If it is so, the first, its Nano Silver Antibacterial Powder Paint certainly has antibacterial function. Your paint producer has proved this. The second when he opened the paint pail, the surface of the paint would become yellow, become dark. That is very normal. As you know, nano silver ion after being oxidized its color will work to a change and that is the fact. That is actually a difficult problem in the world. Our factory and the technologic person have researched passivation technology of naon silver ions for one and a half years, but at present we haven’t solved this problem. So that under current technology condition apply nano silver antibacterial paint, the best way is:
1) sealed packing, not let the air filter into the packing pail and the pail is better in dark or black color because black color can avoid the light.
2) Every pail of naon silver antibacterial paint should be used up quickly after opening
3) When spraying or coating must use the paint sprayer to make the paint present spraying status instead of drop. Spray or coat the wall, it should not to spray or coat too heavy it’s better even or thin …… Your paint producer uses nano silver antibacterial paint, I guess his methods probably doesn’t pay attention to the above three methods, esp. when he applies I estimated the thickness is too bigger and spray or coat is not even.

Q: Can you resolve becoming dark and antibacterial problems of FUGA product?
A:We can mix Nano Silver Antibacterial Powder into FUGA based on cement, and resolve becoming dark and antibacterial problems. (But antifouling and self-cleaning problems need experiment, then we can confirm.), or we can product according the technical data you offered.

Q: Can Negative Ion Powder be mixed with FIR Powder? Or which one is more worthy of recommendation?
A: Of course they can be mixed. If they are applied in insoles, we recommend the FIR Powder mainly composed of Negative Ion Powder of 2500-6000 negative ions generated and Tourmaline Powder.
