A：No, it is not the same. Tourmaline filter is a general name. There are many types and pi ceramic water filter cartridge is one of tourmaline filter which can make alkaline water.
Q：With which of your ceramics I can make strong antioxidant and antibacterial filters? Also with which of your ceramics I can promote the development of the plants?
A：Of course, you can buy some samples first for a test. As I told you that our negative ion ceramic ball and antibacterial ceramic ball can make strong antioxidant and antibacterial filters
Q：How much quantity should be put in a post carbon filter for use in residential for having flow rate of 15 LPH?
A：If it is Long T33 type(12") cartridge, the quantity is 700-730 g/pcs for our ORP balls
Q：Should this be mixed with activated carbon and then filled or should be used as a separate ?
A：It will be better to make a cartridge together with coconut shell active carbon so that it will improve the taste of water filtered. If by the rate of Half and Half, the quantity is 355-365g/pcs for ORP ball.
Method: Put ORP ball and coconut shell active carbon into a cartridge blocked off by a filter net in the middle of the cartidge. The ORP ball is in the input and Active carbon is in the output part.
Q：We have assembled some products and began testing. My customer doesn’t like that when we first turn on the water there is black fines that is flushed out. Could you make this product without the fines?
A：As for the problem you mentioned, it is normal for the hardness of tourmaline granules is 7.5 and easy to fragile, especially when workers are assembling the products with tourmaline granules so that it will lead to occur some fines in the products. To solve this problem, it requires following 3 steps:
1. Use high pressure water tap to wash the produce itself before assembling with tourmaline granules about 30 minutes
2. After assembling, it should better wash again with high pressure water about 15-30 minutes
3. Your customer needs to wash one more time before using around 15 minutes.
It is not necessary to wash again after the 3 steps above. And the problem would not appear any more. Actually, for other filter media such as activated carbon should be processed by the 3 steps above in order to avoid fines.
