I. FIR (far infrared ray) release
[Test method of alcohol acridity feeling] Take two teacups with the same size, add 3～5cc equal whisky into them, then put the first cup on tourmaline ball and the other one on the table. After 2～3minutes, drink the first one first, then the second one. Comparing the two cups, now you will find the first cup more mellow and lower acridity.
[Theory] Whisky is one kind of tequila. Its components are alcohol (ethanol), water, mineral substance and some perfume. FIR tourmaline ball released has the feature of resonation with water molecule (hydroxy) and organic molecule. When whisky touches FIR in close quarters through the teacup, the water molecule and the wavelength of FIR come into being resonating action. That diminishes the structure of molecule group of water and the mineral substance packed by bigger molecule group of water is released out. The released mineral substance influences the acridity feeling of whisky, but no influence to alcohol consistence. The change degree of acridity feeling is increased with the added of FIR content and effect. According to that consumers can easily distinguish the grade of tourmaline ball.
II. Birth of anion
[Test method of water PH] Take a 1000ml beaker, add 900ml deion water and 50g tourmaline ball into it. After dipping in it for 10 minutes, see the number of PH meter. Now you will find the PH has increased from 5.45 of deion water to 6～7 of one treated by tourmaline ball.
[Theory]Tourmaline ball will release electricity as soon as it touches water. It will electrolyze water molecule into H＋and OH－. Hydrogenous ion is neutralized by negative electron released by tourmaline and come into being hydrogenous atom, then release in hydric form. Hydroxyl ion (OH－) combines with water molecule into “hydronium ion” (H3O2)－. After tourmaline ball has been dipped in deion water for a period of time, it will give birth to mass anion, heighten the PH and make the PH of water excursion toward alkalescence.
III. Microelement release of mineral substance
[Test method of water conductance] Take a 1000ml beaker, add 900ml deion water and 50g tourmaline ball into it. After 10 minutes, see the number on the conductance meter. Now you will find that after being treated by tourmaline ball, conductance of deion water has increased from former 2～5us.cm-1 to 30～50us.cm-1.
[Theory]Tourmaline ball contains Mg, Fe, B, Si and Ca, etc natural microelements that is necessary to human body. It will automatically appear in the water. In the condition of same temperature and cubage, the more mineral microelements dissolved in the water, the higher water conductance.
IV. Increase activity
[Test method of coin water overflow] Take two clean coins and two burettes, then respectively naturally drop deion water and activity water after being dipped in by tourmaline ball onto the two coins. See how much drops it needs so that the water will overflow. Test result: the titer of deion water is 14～16 drops and the one of water treated by tourmaline ball is only 10～13 drops.
[Theory]The water molecule structure of deion water is shorter extent structure, bigger tensile force and lower activity, so water is hard to overflow. After being treated by tourmaline ball, the structure of water molecule is changed into longer structure. Water filter, solvency and emulsification are increased, bigger activity, lower tensile force, so the water on the coin is easier overflow.
V. Restraining bacteria and deodorization
[Test method of ammonia or smog]Take two hermetic glasses, respectively add 5～10ml ammonia or smoke into them, then put tourmaline ball into one of them. After 60 minutes, use color chromatogram and mass spectrum united meter test that ammonia dealt by tourmaline ball has no odor or through eyeballing that there is no smoke inside the glass dealt by tourmaline ball. But the other one without treatment is all the same with the smell of ammonia and smoke.
[Theory]Because tourmaline ball is electrolyzed in water, releasing FIR and giving birth to negative ion or due to visible light courses chemic effect, it can directly decompose and destroy cellular membrane of bacteria, eliminate odor. Generally speaking, bacteria destroyed rate and heavy metal absorbed rate of tourmaline ball in water is all ≥99%, there is no toxin to human body and no side effect.
