Today the environment and human healthy suffered from
various contaminants, so a new technology of photocatalyst
from Japan has got attention extensively. The new product
has thorough antibacterial effects and doesn’t do social
effect of pollution, so it is called the most advanced antibacterial
and purifying technology for houses and cars in the world,
and enjoys popularity in the material industry. With the advance of human material civilization, human
has been puzzled by the pollution of exhaust gas of cars,
formaldehyde, benzene and mildew,

Indoor Air Detect Center of China Decorate Association has

Professor Fujishima and his graduate student Honda discovered
the phenomenon below while did experiments in 1972: placed the

The development of
photocatalyst:
The products of photocatalyst have been applied in Europe,
American, Japan and Korean for 5 years. Especially in Japan, they are applied
in various kinds of industries. The data of Japanese business market indicates,
after the first development about TiO 2 appeared in 1970, the
photocatalyst had been developed as commodity in 1990, trial-business reached
0.2 billion yen in 1997, 1.2 billion yen in 1998, 4 billion yen in 1999

TiO2 photocatalyst
principle:
Nanometer photocatalyst are made from TiO 2 grains,
the sizes of which are under 20nm. After they absorb UV in sunshine
and illuminate lamp-house, the electrons on them are activated
by UV and flies off, then produce electron holes, which have
strong oxidation ability (the holes are produced, when the electrons
are flying off). The electron has strong deoxidization ability,
will produce oxidation anion free radicals and oxyhydrogen free
radicals after reacting with H 20 and O 2
in air. They have strong oxidation ability, and can decompose
the organic, contaminants, fume, and bacteria into hurtles CO 2
and H 2O . At the same time, the electrons make deoxidization
reaction to deoxidize the oxygen in air.

1, Sterilization, restraining virus: TiO2
photocatalyst can destroy the membrane of the cell; solid the
protein of virus, restrain the virus activation, and catch,
kill aerobic bacteria up to 99.97%.

oxidation ability than ozone and anion, stronger absorbability
